Yes, I have been a very bad blogger this year. Horrible, in fact.
The summer was exhausting and, after the HiTechRanch B2Q3 back in August, I spent a week doing as little as possible. Then, at the end of August, the Fall semester took over my world. Now here I am, staring down the barrel of the last few days of the semester. Papers looming, 3 finals to study for and take, and anxiously awaiting news from Apple about my poor Macbook.
Yup, I’m flying on just a netbook. The Mac decided over Thanksgiving that staying powered on was simply too much to ask of it.
Fingers crossed, kids. I need to finish the Rufus method tale and tell you all about the wondrous world of being a college dj. And about the passing of my lil dachsie, Mia. And I will, just not tonight.
I’ll leave you with my favorite pic of Mia and myself. The better half and I had traveled to Carlsbad Caverns, Roswell and Taos, NM, and Alamosa, CO. When this pic was taken we were car camping on the West Texas Caprock just outside of Lubbock on our way home to Houston.

HT and Mia. So long, lil heifer.

Sorry to hear about wee Mia… You look so snuggly in the pic!
Time for us all to settle in to our little caves for the winter. Sad but necessary, it helps us appreciate the spring.
Update us as soon as possible! You know we love your stories!
